01 May 2021 Anniversary Celebration ... May 01, 2021 9:00 AM We will be celebrating our 100th Anniversary ... passing out seed packets, instlaling the Peace Pole (dedication June 29) ... and more. Plan to join us!!
01 May 2021 May Mart - Volunteers needed May 01, 2021 9:00 AM - 4:00 PM Franklin Gardeners have accepted our offer to volunteer at May Mart. They need us to walk through the two parks both days to offer masks to people. They had to advertise that masks are required, although it is outdoors. And they want us to walk about and just offer masks to people that don’t have them on. Not exactly the most pleasant of duties, but it is necessary. We do not have to require anyone to wear them etc., just suggest and offer. The hours are Saturday 9 – 4 and Sunday 11 – 4. We need 2 people for 2 hour shifts. Please wear a Rotary shirt if possible, but we will try to have Rotary aprons available to wear as well. Please meet at the island gazebo between Fountain park and the courthouse for your shift.
