Speaker Responsibility Reminder – Let’s Share the Load!
Each member of the Franklin Rotary Club is responsible for securing a speaker for one meeting during the Rotary year. If you're unable to bring in an outside speaker, no problem — you can use your assigned week to share something about yourself! Whether it’s a hobby, a personal story, a unique skill, or a cause you care about, it’s a great chance for the club to get to know you better.

Let’s work together to keep our weekly programs engaging without putting the burden on just a few. Everyone takes one — simple as that!

Franklin Rotary Club – 5th Tuesday Apple Butter Labeling Night
📅 Tuesday, September 30th
📍 Creekside Granite

Join us for a special 5th Tuesday evening gathering as we prepare for Applefest! Instead of our regular lunch meeting, we’ll be meeting at Creekside Granite to work together on labeling all of the Apple Butter jars for the big weekend event.

🍴 Food & Drinks:

• The club will provide Walking Tacos for dinner/snack.

• Please bring a drink of your choice.

This is a fun, hands-on way to serve our community and spend time together as Rotarians. Come ready to help, laugh, and enjoy fellowship while we get our Apple Butter ready for Applefest!

🌍 World Polio Day Celebration – Join Us! 🍻
Franklin Rotarians, mark your calendars for Thursday, October 24 as we gather with fellow clubs across District 7280 to raise a glass and some funds in honor of World Polio Day! 💉❤️

This district-wide social event will celebrate the incredible strides Rotary has made in the fight against polio and help raise money for End Polio Now. Expect great company, local brews, and the kind of fellowship that makes Franklin Rotary so special.

This is the recipient of our November Pop Up Project to collect Hats and Gloves. 

Please come make a donation and hear about their lovely program. 

Come join the club while we werite and mail Chrismtas cards to our members to share Holiday Cheer to those far and near. 

In lieu of a regular meeting, please join us at 3:00 pm at Grace Learning Center in Rocky Grove to celebrate the kids Chrismtas with cookies, snakcs, a visit from Santa and a music program. 

Come Celebrate Kids Chrismtas at the Grace Learning Center. 

We will have cookies, punch, a music program and gifts from Santa!

See you there instead of our Tuesday lunch meeting!

Coloborate with the Franklin Kiwanis Club and help us gather food for local food pantires and organizations that could use a little extra help through the cold winter months! 

Bring your contributions to our weekly meetings and we will collect through January and make the donation in the beginning of February.

I’m excited to invite you to join us for Club Culture Night, a multi-club event bringing together Rotarians from Franklin, Oil City, and Titusville for an evening of connection, conversation, and reflection.

Club culture is more than meeting schedules or long-standing traditions. It’s how we welcome new members, how we support one another, how we serve, and how our communities experience Rotary. This evening will give us the opportunity to come together across clubs to share ideas, learn from one another, and explore what a strong, healthy club culture looks like—and how it directly impacts engagement, growth, and community perception.

This will be an interactive and meaningful night with open dialogue, real examples, and practical takeaways you can bring back to your home club. Whether you’re a long-time Rotarian or newer to Rotary, your voice matters, and your perspective will add value to the conversation.

Thank you for all you do for Rotary and for your community. I hope you’ll join us for this collaborative and energizing evening with fellow Rotarians from Franklin, Oil City, and Titusville.
