PRESIDENT'S NOTE
Dear Rotary Family,
Again, my apologies for my absence last week. We are all trying to get through the winter sicknesses. I am looking forward to seeing you all this week.
We will be hearing from Tom Baker from Varitey - The Children's Charity of Pittsburgh. He puts out a monthly newsletter and we were mentioned in it, check this out!
I am told the presentation for Julie Cotton Smith was a huge success and thank you so much to Jeff Kuhn who won the 50/50 drawing and donated the entire amount to the PPC Violence Free Network. Julie plans to host a pizza party for Valentine's Day for the residents. THANK YOU!!!
I would love to continue the donations through the club, please feel free to continue to bring in those donations through February!
This weekend is the Celebration of Talent! February 15, 2025 - 2:00 pm rehearsal. 7:30 pm is the show start, if you are a volunteer for the show, please be there at 6:30 pm. This is one of my favorite things we do during our Rotary year, if you have not been, please make a point to be there!
Please take some time to check in with people who may be homebound or suffering from illness or just to say hello. This time of year can be difficult and it is important that we check in with each other often and offer a warm hello, or see if someone may need some extra help. Text, call, or send a letter.
