PRESIDENT'S NOTE
Dear Rotary Family,
I hope everyone had a wonderful weekend and you are enjoying the reprieve of Winter weather and the extra hour of sleep!
Don't forget about the November Pick a Day Calendar for the Rotary Foundation. Make sure to pick your dates!
November Pop Up Project will be collecting Hats, Gloves, and Mittens for the First United Methodist Church Community Dinner that will be held on November 19th. Please bring in those donations during the month of November so we can make those donations to those who are in need of them.
Coming up this month, we have a full schedule. If you are not able to make it to the regular meetings, please do your best to pop into another opportunity at your convenience. Please check all the dates of activities coming up in November.

First, at this moment, we have only 6 signups for the November 12th and 15th Pet Photo Shoots, AND only 2 of them are not on our committee.
We are going to need to hustle if this is to be a successful project.
Second, we still need some volunteers to assist during the photo sessions (registrations, collecting money, etc). There is a sign-up sheet (open to the whole club) on Club-Runner. Please encourage some other Rotarians to participate, preferably a 4-hour session, but any shorter time commitment would be helpful and appreciated. Spouses and friends of Rotary welcome!!
Third, we still need to get the word out regarding this project. If there is any other else where you can stick a poster, please do it. Share and reshare on Facebook. Tell your 'doggy' friends. We should show up in "Community Events" in the Derrick this week; We're on Venango Happenings Facebook Page. Does anyone know someone who can set us up with a doggy-memed TikTok or Instagram ad (especially a sharp teenager)?
November 20th will be our Thanksgiving Dinner / Lunch meeting with Kiwanis. There will be no Regular Tuesday meeting on the 18th.
November 22 is Light Up Night in Franklin. Please be sure to direct your friends and family to Dr. Gammello's window to see the display set up to benefit the Franklin Rotary Dog Park Project.
Enjoy every minute of the day you are given,
Jessica
