PRESIDENT'S NOTE
Dear Rotary Family,
I hope you all have an enjoyable and productive week in this beautiful weather we are having in NWPA. Thank you to Wendy for covering the meeting for me on Tuesday. Harper is feeling better.
Thank you to all who participated in PetFest this past weekend at the park. If any of you have photos you can share with me, it would be appreciated so I can submit them to the District Newsletter.
Coming up this week, we will hear from Dan Flarety from the Oil Region Library Assn. He will be sure to be an enjoyable and entertaining speaker for our weekly meeting.
Don't forget, NEXT Tuesday we will not be having a regular noon meeting, instead we will be meeting at Creekside Granite at 5:00 pm for our 5th Tuesday and Apple Butter Labeling Party. I will be providing Walking Tacos for dinner. Please bring your favorite beverage.
WELCOME to our newest member, Joe Keenan. He is the Principal of Sandycreek Elementary, and we look forward to welcoming him to our fantastic group.
Take a look at the awesome money tracker that Dr. Gammello created to track our progress on the fundraising efforts for the Dog Park! Thanks, Dr. Mark, this is fantastic~
There are many sign-ups set up in Club Runner to participate in. Please make your best effort to go in and sign up where you can. These are great opportunities outside of our regular weekly meetings, and it is so helpful when we all pitch in to cover these shifts.
Shifts include: Applefest Parking Lot, Apple Butter Sales, and Dog Park Information booth. Please sign up today!
There will be a Highway Clean Up on September 20th at 8:00 am at the Sleepy Hollow Golf Course. Please come participate in this fun community service project as well.
Don't miss out on our 5th Tuesday event. We will NOT have a regular weekly meeting, but we will be meeting at Creekside Granite at 5:00 pm to label our Apple Butter and have a meal together. I will be providing Walking Tacos, so please feel free to bring your favorite drink.
Be sure to participate in our September Pop Up Project to collect food items for the Franklin High School Caring Closet! Bring in your items to each Tuesday meeting and help us stock their shelves.
Respectfully,
Jessica
