Burrrrrrr.
One of the best things about living in Western PA is these winters! I personally love it, and look forward to these bouts of cold weather, and of course the snow! After reviewing the weather forecast and feeling just how cold today is, I am deciding to cancel our weekly meeting on Tuesday.
This week we were supposed to hear from Bob Moore of Venango Technology Center, and I am working to move him to next week when Kyle will be leading the meeting for us.
Please take some time to check in with people who may be homebound or suffering from illness or just to say hello. This time of year can be difficult and it is important that we check in with each other often and offer a warm hello, or see if someone may need some extra help. Text, call, or send a letter.
In January we are collecting items for the PPC organization in Franklin. Their needs are described on the graphic below. Please bring one or some of these items to each meeting in January and Becky and Leah will make sure they are donated at the end of the month on behalf of Franklin Rotary Club.
Unfortunately, our Dog Park Sign at Miller Sibley - the prospective site for the Rotary Dog park, has been destroyed. The remnants were removed over the weekend, and we will work on getting a new one to replace it soon! Thank you to Dan Paulo for taking care of getting it cleaned up swiftly!
