It is once again that time of year for our springtime highway cleanup service project. Our cleanup date will be Saturday, May 13, 8:00am. As always we will meet at the far end of the Sleepy Hollow Golf Course parking lot away from the clubhouse building. For those who may not be familiar, the section of highway covers about one mile and typically takes less than 90 minutes to complete. The walk is fairly level with very little grade. Safety vests, gloves, garbage bags are all provided. Just wear comfortable shoes/boots with good traction. Please reply back to me if you will be participating in this very worthwhile activity to keep Pa CLEAN! In the event of inclement weather the morning of the cleanup I will be sure to let you know via email no later than 7:00am that morning if it becomes necessary to reschedule. Oil City and Franklin Rotary Clubs will be having a Project Work Day on June 10th @ Two-Mile Run County Park from 10:00AM - 2:00PM. We will be staining a pavilion, planting grass seed, assembling picnic tables and more! So please dress appropriately :) Water will be provided, however if you would like to bring a drink or dish to share, please indicate what you'll be bringing in the Comments section of your registration. Please register if planning to attend so we have an accurate head count! |

The Franklin Fine Arts Council (FFAC) will be hosting an Ice Cream Social on 12th Street for the kiddos directly following the parade at 11:30AM. The FFAC has asked Franklin Rotary Club for 3 volunteers to help them with this event! Volunteers should arrive/be ready to begin at 11:30am and should be all done by no later than 1:30pm. If you're interested/able to help with this, please "sign up" on the volunteer list :) |

Rotary tailgate party and baseball game: Pirates vs San Francisco Giants INCLUDES: Taillage dinner, food and drinks, playing pickleball and cornhole during tailgate party, in parking lot Gold 1A, under the overpass, ticket to the game, IUP pre-game reception. Each ticket includes tailgate dinner and drinks, a co-branded Pirates/IUP bucket hat and access to a pregame happy hour in the Left Field Lounge and one complimentary drink ticket. A portion of each ticket will be donated back to Indiana University of Pennsylvania. Bring chairs and sneakers. TIMING: Tailgate 4:00pm - 6:00pm ish. Parking Gold 1A. Easy to find right in front of the stadium, General Robinson way and Tony Dorsett Way. Yellow balloons will be marking us under the overpass in the northeast section of the lot.Gold 1A, You can arrive from 3:00pm on. IUP stadium reception Left Field Lounge - 6:00pm Game time 7:05pm REGISTER: Let Big Mike know how many tickets you want as he will reserve the block tickets. Please respond by June 1, 2023.
